FAQs
Common questions about your free trial lesson
Yes. Your first trial lesson is free. You’ll meet the teacher and try a lesson before deciding whether to continue.
It’s a chance for you and your teacher to meet, do some playing and discuss what you’d like to learn.
Please bring your instrument (except for piano lessons), a notebook or scrapbook for lesson notes, and any relevant music books. If you are attending your trial lesson, bring your instrument unless you’re learning piano. We’ll provide the other lesson materials.
We work on technique and pieces, discuss what to practise, and cover reading, theory and listening as needed.
Trial lessons are usually held at our home studio in Weston, NSW, and your teacher will provide exact address and arrival details after booking.
